Yamazaki was the first malt-whisky distillery in Japan, founded in 1923 on the outskirts of Kyoto, which was Japan’s capital for thousand years.
Similar distillation process to Scottish, while undertaken unique aging process: matured in Spanish, American (ex-Bourbon) and Japanese (Mizunara) oak casks.
